FULL MOON AT 24° ARIES

A fiery Full Moon awakens us out of any sleep. Recognize what you stand for and also also what you do not. Aries asks you to delineate self and fully embody that shape that is you. “Nature loves courage” as Mckenna says. You will be asked to revisit a wounds and see from a new healing perspective as Chiron travels close to the full moon. Mainly, you will be asked to act in alignment with your truth.

This Full Moon in Aries today is especially charged as it comes just before US elections. To understand this Full Moon we must look to Mars in the sky as Mars is the ruler of Aries. Mars is now in direct opposition to Pluto and this also happens to be the main aspect of the US elections.

Every 4 years, and during elections, there's an opposition of planets in the sky, each symbolizing a candidate and their ethos. This is how astrology works - we mirror the sky and it mirrors us back at all times as everything breathes together.

So it begins... Mars moves closer and closer toward an opposition with Pluto until Election time. The question is, who is who? So is Kamala represented by Mars in Cancer and is Trump Pluto in Capricorn or vice versa? Mars in Cancer would symbolize protection and care for the countries workers with stronger social services and support if it's representing Kamala. And as Trump, Mars in Cancer would represent something more clannish to "protect" the society with stringent border controls.

Now let's explore what Mars is opposing - Pluto in Capricorn... The last time Pluto was in Capricorn, the United States of America became a country. Also in 1776, a seminal "Pluto in Capricorn" book was written by Adam Smith titled "The Wealth of Nations" which essentially laid down the groundwork for capitalism to function and it also laid down the groundwork for what would later become the GDP. The Global Domestic Product index is a way of quantifying the success of a country based on their 'wealth' and 'production value' (Capricorn) versus their culture sustainability and happiness (Cancer).

Since the creation of the GDP, many other countries have grown to favor other markers of success aside from output and production. Bhutan uses the GNH, Gross National Happiness index which began in the early 70's. This is based on a belief that development should be holistic; spiritual, social, environmental, and based on the peoples health. This feels very Cancerian in contrast to our Pluto in Capricorn index solely based on economy. EU countries check on a swath of other holistic indexes when a new country is in its admission process. So why has America been so far behind on this with its GDP (focusing on economy only) and growing mental health crisis? To begin with, this country was formed the last time Pluto was in Capricorn so naturally it would embody these tenets of capitalism.

As Pluto reaches the last 29th degree of Capricorn, we see the vision in Fritz Lang's 1927 'Metropolis' of a bleak underworld of oppressed workers and robots. Perhaps this was a foreboding warning of the future as Pluto was in Cancer when it hit the theatres? As Pluto reaches it's 'gone-too-far' last degree in Cap, we see the mechanisms supersede the people using them.

The well oiled machine manufactured from Pluto in Capricorn had extracted whatever it needed to keep on growing at the expense of human lives, happiness, animal lives and earths ecosystems. The oil that once lubricated the bones of the earth has been extracted to lubricate the machines and it's actually running out. So Pluto is about to enter Aquarius,

On the upside, Pluto in Aquarius offers new sustainable energy solutions and a more egalitarian economic system, though we must work with the emerging paradigm versus trying to keep up the old in place. We'll see a great deal of wind and water power, and various electric hybrids amongst new visionary social systems. Pluto in Capricorns unsustainable machine with it's hollowed workers, gets replaced over these next 20 years. Pluto enters the new frontiers of Aquarius on Jan. 20, 2025 beginning a brand new program. On this day (which also happens to be the inauguration) Pluto and the Sun meet up showing that whomever is being sworn, is going to be a catalyst and create a profound and innovative change.

Vote, and vision the planet you will feel proud of. Take agency on this Full Moon in Aries and claim your power.

After having read Rebecca Gordon’s book, Your Body and the Stars, I knew it was important to go deeper into studying how the zodiac sign influences health. This class isn’t just for those interested in medical practice, it’s suitable for everyone who also want to be more attuned to their bodies. We were treated to fun and informative sessions on going through our natal charts and watching out for potential health issues, as well as identifying some alignments that could affect the health.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Astrology of Relationships class. Rebecca is a gifted astrologer with a creative and unique voice. She introduced me to new techniques and added layers to my understanding of synastry. Her distinctive take on the waltz between the sun and moon in relationships provided a fresh new perspective for my understanding of aspects in relationships. There is a Facebook group to connect with your fellow students. I love that all her classes are live and interactive.

After studying astrology for over 20 years to then becoming professional the last few years, I am a great believer in continuing development. Through studying and learning from many teachers, I have followed Rebecca for the last two years.
Specialising In Medical Astrology I loved her Health and Wellness course, there was so much information which gave me a deeper understanding of how to bring in the ecosystem.
I would highly recommend this class even if you are not an Astrologer you will still benefit from this class.
— Debbie B- Professional Astrologer
I have taken two full courses and countless workshops and private sessions with Rebecca. She is undoubtedly a master of her craft and a true mentor for her students. I live in gratitude to her for the rich knowledge she has equipped me in understanding myself and in helping others learn about themselves through astrology.
— MORGAN R, MEDICAL RESEARCHER
I met Rebecca years ago at a workshop she was teaching. I was immediately drawn to the lightness and life that she brings to the ancient art of astrology - she makes it so accessible and fun, without sacrificing any of its depth and life-changing potential. It’s been such a joy to be in her astrology school. I’ve gained a much deeper understanding of myself, and seen how we are all “wired” really differently, based on studies of natal charts. This has helped me to be much more patient and understanding with my friends and family ;) And, the class really feels like a true spiritual community: supportive, intimate and inspiring. I will miss our weekly gatherings!
