General Mask Details

Blank masks are made of Venetian plaster in Italy. In other words, the canvas is made in Italy, the art is made in the U.S. :)

Each mask is complete with a silk ribbon adhered to either side of the interior to provide the option of wearability, along with your name + astrological glyph hand painted next to The Speckled Moon wax seal.

About: Meet the starry-eyed, ice cream-fueled mask artist behind The Speckled Moon. Clair's bright, imaginative pieces are crafted to electrify the world of wearable art in the spirit of play, neverending wonder + bursting a world of trends + sameness. 

Inspired by the enchanted, astrologically + surrealistically inclined, her handcrafted masks are made using acrylic paints, German air-drying or foam clay, along with various gemstone + unique adornments. Clair's pieces are constantly dancing somewhere between the glow of fireflies + winks from the stars, celebrating our innermost selves brought out into the (moon)light.
