THE TAURUS WAY – WE LOVE IT
Your star sign is ruled by the planet Venus, who presides over beauty, love and the arts. Though Venus has two sides and you represent the more earthy, tactile and sensual side of Venus. You are the connoisseur of fine fabrics, wine, food, perfume and all things we can access through our five senses. The goddess Aphrodite is your cosmic avatar and sensual beauty is your domain here on earth. You truly get the power of touch whether it is massage, gardening, cooking or crafting – as you know how to instinctively mold the earth into ambrosia. You know how to take your time in life; pausing to inhale the fragrant breeze or to savor a delicious massage. In our fast-paced world, perhaps you are here to remind us all of the inherent beauty within our senses. And sensible is a quality that may describe you well as you are also born in the spring when the flowers begin to ground and develop their deep root systems beneath the earths' surface. Security and stability is of high importance and the idea of 'freelance' may put you in a frenzy. Adore yourself, embellish your life with beauty everywhere, and stay present in your body. KICKING OFF THE YEAR WITH MERCURY RETROGRADE
Let's have a look at what the year has in store for you! First off, May begins with Mercury Retrograde in Taurus so you may be doing some major reflection. Take a time-out to reassess – checking in to see if your current lifestyle is actually a reflection of your true values. And if not, May will be a fine time to consider the adjustments that will make it so. Retrogrades are ideal for revising life plans.
LOVE AND ROMANCE – YOU'RE ON FIRE
Love will be your headliner this year. Being a Venus-ruled babe, you may be pleased to know that lucky Jupiter is now spending quality time in the area of your chart which rules romance, fertility and creativity. This happens every 12 years, though astrology is a two-way street and you must show up for the occasion, i.e. 'Netflix and chill' nights will not amount to meeting your sweetheart, starting a family or launching a new business. You may as well play in the magic when lucky Jupiter is in your corner bringing you this golden opportunity for love. However, since the beginning of this year, Jupiter has not exactly been high functioning as he has been retrograding backwards. The good news is, he turns direct in your sector of love on May 10 and will stay that way until he exits on Sept. 8. Can we say, 'Summer of Love'? August 27th is especially sweet as amorous Venus and golden Jupiter will kiss in the sky. Surely, the summer will not be boring.
On the heels of Jupiter leaving your love sector, a Solar Eclipse will enter the scene in that same house of romance. You may need to carve out the time to build and secure this relationship because as you know things do need nurturing and time to develop. This Solar Eclipse on September 1 will open up space in your life for a deep and meaningful connection. With Mercury Retrograde as well, it could be that you will need to first bring closure with someone from your past. Or else perhaps—you will rekindle love with an ex-partner. Whether it is a love relationship or a creative endeavor that you are beginning on this eclipse, make sure that you are both on the same page in regards to values as Neptune opposes and you will want to be ultra-clear in the early stages so things are built on strong foundation for years to come.
Another retrograde to note would be Mars. Your relationship will need a reassessment before moving forward in June 2016 as Mars will be traversing in the partner zone of your chart. Take your time then and make any changes when necessary – best to also hold off on any major commitments like marriage until Mars goes direct in July.
And finally, Halloween will deliver a New Moon in your partnership zone which will unveil a much deeper level of commitment – perhaps you decide to tie the knot then or get engaged. If you are single around Halloween, a friend could make a smashing intro to you and your new suitor in costume.
WEALTH & CAREER – A NEW VIEW
When it comes to money, this is a year to fully pay your dues and play by the rules as serious Saturn the task master, slowly makes its way through your financial sector. This may be a year where you will finally pay off any loans and debt and improve your credit rating. In some years, wealth comes in the form of paper money and others, it takes on different forms like say— lifestyle or relationship and family. And this is one of those years where your wealth will take on new forms. You will benefit by opening to the myriad of other ways your wealth may show up. Let go of the story because often the time-line in your head is way more limiting than the expanse of what the universe can deliver. Getting any loans this year can be tedious and in June it seems you will simply have to be patient. By December, a hefty amount may be arriving as a result of the years' hard work, diligence and patience. As a Taurus, you may understand well that these processes can sometimes move slower though often when they do, it means that the stakes are higher and this can work in your favor. By February there seems to be a move or travel that is a result of a project you are now working on. It is then, in February 2017, when you go fully to the next level. Your patience will pay off.

With lucky Jupiter in your sector of health and work-flow in the second half of the year, your business culture and life-work balance should be greatly improving. Yes, September 2016 – October 2017 is your year for optimal healthy lifestyle. With Jupiter kissing a New Moon early October, kick off this trend and you will be amazed at the staying power that ensues. Conditions will greatly improve as you seem to get your big break on a project in October.
Perhaps you will finally be able to hire more staff, outsource and delegate more and likely you will land the all-star team. This year is truly about making your work be a reflection of your true values and having a bit more time away from the desk so that other areas of your life may also develop and be nurtured.
TRAVEL - TAKE ME AWAY
Looking for a sumptuous getaway this year? July is your month of travel. Earlier in the month glows for a road trip or short weekend get-away. With Venus so close to the New Moon, accommodations will be divine – you may travel with pals or perhaps a new love interest. Foreign travel beckons on the Full Moon of July 19 and you may be joined by a partner along the way. There are supportive planets in earth signs - Jupiter and Pluto who will be in very close alignment all summer giving travel and romance great priority and perhaps both concurrently. If you do not happen to be traveling with a partner, it is very possible that you meet someone on a sunny beach or perhaps even - the airplane. Stranger things have happened! New Years Eve may as well, be spent abroad as a glowing New moon then will get ample cosmic support from your friends as they may have all of the accommodations arranged so you will simply need to pack bags and call the car.
